The Starfish light sculpture was developed for the Hanaholmen Swedish Finnish Cultural Centre. The light casts ephemeral ‘light paintings’ on wall surfaces. Each light sculpture and the spotted patterns it generates are unique. Its tentacles touch the wall lightly on three points, as if it was slowly crawling up the wall. The Starfish can be installed individually or as a group. The effect Starfish creates depends on the time of the day general illumination of the space - varying from delicate figures to sharp, expressive formations.
